So recently (and also not so recently) i’ve been contemplating living more minimally. After reading articles, blog posts, and browsing Facebook pages, I’ve decided to make the mindful decision to become a more conscious consumer of the planets resources, and therefore i’m making the move to living more minimally.
I think there is a great deal of merit in living with less, I remember when I moved cities (From Auckland to Perth) about 5 years ago, with the intention of just having a holiday. Arriving and staying with just a suitcase full of belongings really presses you to think about the things that you own and place importance on. Nevertheless, I have now accumulated a great deal of stuff over the past 5 years, and it doesn’t bring any value to my life.
There are so many aspects of life that you can simplify, and i’m hoping this blog ‘Simply Less’ will become my refuge for decision making, and hub for collaborating research, and a hive for perhaps inspiring others to do the same. For now, I will start with the word simple in mind, and I will simply introduce myself. My name is Britt, I’m a 24 year old Kiwi living in Perth, Australia. I have a dog, a cat and a partner in crime. By day i’m a Chiro Assistant/Nutritionist/Entrepreneur/Yogi, by night i’m a book obsessed introvert.
I hope in all humbleness that this blog brings something meaningful to your life. Whether it be inspiring you to live a little more meaningfully, or simply a space to rest your brain. Simply Less is mostly for me, but let it also be for you.
